About

Challenge Leisure

Over the past 30 years we have offered UKPSF accredited paintball games, quadbiking, airsoft, archery, a military styled assault course and activities for both hen and stag parties.  We have hosted corporate events and school activity days; with many years of experience behind us, we have been able to hone this experience for your maximum enjoyment.

Our clay pigeon shooting has always been one of our most popular activities and this is the activity we are now offering, post Covid  Our instructors are CPSA qualified and/or hold military qualifications (Small Arms Military Instructor) to ensure you are in the best hands possible.

Our shoot

A shoot with a difference

Clay pigeon shooting is a sport in which anyone can participate. This clay shooting experience is a little different from the traditional, being styled loosely on a military shoot. After tuition on a one to one basis with a qualified instructor, clays will be launched in pairs or singly depending upon your experience and ability; the aim being to break as many as possible.  Full safety rules and instruction will be given on arrival. Our marshals hold shotgun licenses and have shooting experience themselves. You will be using a 12 bore shotgun with ejectors. You will be provided with a set of ear defenders and safety glasses; clays and cartridges are included in the price.

When using live firearms you need to know that you are being looked after by trained professionals. Challenge offers clay pigeon shooting to anyone over the age of 16 in a safe environment.

Come rain or shine!  Our shooting stands provide cover from the elements so that we are able to offer this activity all year round.

Ideal for both novices and those who have been shooting for years, our clay shooting sessions provide a unique experience and, if you book one of the options with more cartridges, we guarantee our fast action flush will give you an adrenaline rush not to be forgotten.

How are our
cartridges different?

Challenge Leisure uses subsonic/low noise cartridges.  As the name suggests, these cartridges produce less noise than a standard cartridge.  For those who have shot before, you may notice a difference in speed; however, for those new to the sport, a subsonic cartridge produces less recoil and is, therefore, much kinder to the shoulder!
